The movie is by ESPN and it's a 30 for 30 film called "The 16th Man". It's the story of how Mandella used the sport of rugby to unite his country after becoming president. It's an amazing story! (My link is to YouTube, but it is also available on Netflix.)

I haven't seen the 16th man, but I did see Invictus, which is based off of the book. It was an okay movie, but it really shows that transition. I have had the book on my list for some time to read.
You made some really good points there. I looked on the net for more information about the issue and found

Hi Dana, I haven't called around for ages ... so here I am, not quite able to have a cuppa and chat, but able to say Hi nevertheless :)
I like the look of this movie ... I saw Invictus (there is a lot of misunderstanding, I think, with the apartheid issue, but I really did like that movie).
Gonna watch this on Youtube right now ... though I probably won't be able to watch too much of it - it's late here in the UK right now.
Nice to catch up again - off to do some browsing :)
Anne
