Roping off a square foot
A tiny feather I found in my square foot
We didn't find much in our squares except grass, but we had a great discussion about how grass grows by putting out feeders. In fact, I need to look it up in HONS, but can't get to it right now.
Our biggest "find" :-)
Cuddling with our chihuahua. She has a LONG tongue - can you see it???
Alexandra watched an incredibly tiny spider that crawled onto our blanket.
Before watering our flowers, I thought I'd check where we often find snails, and found this TINY toad! Sorry it's a little blurry.
And, we changed the water in the bird bath and found this love bug - all alone! If you aren't familiar with love bugs, they usually fly in pairs. I'm wondering what the orange bump is for and will probably have to do some research.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Great photos from your Green Hour Challenge - the toad is wonderful.
I scrolled down to your post about your trip home. Praising God that He provided a hospital and good treatment. Thanks so much for your willingness to share such a scary experience. I'm sure many will benefit from this knowledge. We travel long distances to see family several times a year, so we will be extra cautious about water and frequent breaks in the future.
Praying you continue to recover well.
Blessings,
Shannon
I loved your photos for this challenge....especially the dog in the square, that made me laugh out loud. :)
You both do such a great job and I always look forward to reading your challenges.
Thanks for sharing,

We haven't done this challenge yet. GB is still trying to decide what to "collect" for challenge #6.
GB says to tell you that the toad is "So cute!"
I can't wait to get to this challenge, but I feel compelled to finish the others first. Maybe Thursday or Friday.
That's a great idea to use the kabob skewer's to rope off your one foot square. I'm gonna have to use that. It really defines the area. Did you figure out what kind of feather that was. It looks so soft.
Cute pic of your daughter observing the spider!
I have a post on lovebugs:

Love the photo of your little dog in the square. That was so cute. Don't you just love the outdoors?
The bug that flies in pairs are called Love Bugs. They're everywhere here in the spring.
