We hadn't packed our gloves (when do we ever need gloves???), but I had to play in the snow. I made this tiny snowman. He's maybe 4 or 5 inches tall. At first Alex didn't want to get out and play, but she soon changed her mind.
We started making snowballs and throwing them at a telephone pole... and at the car.
It was COLD out, and Alex was in her flip flops - her favorite footwear! I think we played for about 10 minutes.
There is something about snow that brings out the kid in all of us. I'm glad she took the time to play, too. We got a teeny, tiny bit of snow today. But not much.
ReplyDeleteFlip flops, a lite jacket and snow....a great Texas Snow Day. Glad you all had some snow and got to throw some around.
ReplyDeleteEverything locks so pretty when it is decorated all in white doesn't it? I am so happy that Alexandra decided to get out and enjoy it. I just love the photo of her playing in the snow in her flip flops. Just too funny! My girls were in Heaven here!
ReplyDeleteSo that's what snow looks like in Houston! I heard about it! That snow came up here and we found some in our yard when we came back from the Grand Illumination at CW.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Laurie
