Today, Alexandra and Nana made Cross Cookies for Good Friday. (We found the recipe in an April copy of Clubhouse Jr we picked up at Focus on the Family this week. Alexandra really enjoyed this magazine and we'll probably get a subscription.)
After baking them, step #6 says "Thank Jesus for dying on the cross to save believers from their sins." I hope everyone can take some time this weekend to remember that Jesus came to die on the cross so our sins could be forgiven. This is truly the greatest gift of all and the true meaning of Easter. Praise God; Jesus is alive!!!
