(I also have a zoom lens that goes to 300mm)Dana Leedshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387705697369311607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14307156.post-22400335565604568672008-01-31T10:27:00.000-06:002008-01-31T10:27:00.000-06:00Nuthatches are really interesting to watch. They don't seem to have much regard for gravity! If you're interested in seeing them closer, set out a suet or peanut feeder. This will also attract titmice, woodpeckers, chickadees, and flickers.

I came to your site as I was trying to figure out what kind of microscope to get. Your post on the gecko tail came up when I did a search on "60x microscope". Can you tell me what kind of microscope you have? I like that you can take video and photo on it. All of the trees are about 500 feet away. This Spring we hope to plant some closer to the house so we can resume our love of bird watching. I really enjoy reading your post.Missyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03965917320294763632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14307156.post-36354456163267853282008-01-27T08:44:00.000-06:002008-01-27T08:44:00.000-06:00These are beautiful pictures... thanks for sharing...These are beautiful pictures... thanks for sharing!Leila - mommyof4https://www.blogger.com/profile/14662507407400368646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14307156.post-50125649232617469792008-01-26T21:40:00.000-06:002008-01-26T21:40:00.000-06:00We have a lot of cute little nuthatches at our fee...We have a lot of cute little nuthatches at our feeders, but I've never seen a red-breasted one.
